What is nano graphene?
Nano graphene is a clear protective coating applied to the car’s paint after it is prepared. It works on the same principle as nano ceramic: gloss, and a surface that water and dust do not cling to easily. The one we use at EGY X is American, with a 5-year warranty when done on its own.
Graphene or nano ceramic?
Graphene has the longer warranty: 5 years against 3 for nano ceramic. Graphene is American and costs 9,000 EGP; nano ceramic is German and costs 6,000 EGP. The full comparison is in Graphene vs nano ceramic.
What does “graphene under the film” mean?
It means the graphene layer goes on the paint first, and the protection film is installed on top of it. This is part of the X Max package and the tiers above it: the layer stays hidden under the film and carries a 10-year warranty with it. If the film is ever removed, the graphene underneath is intact, like a freshly applied coating. See the protection packages, or the protection film page.
